Can I purchase artwork "on approval"? 

While I accepts returns of artworks I sell, they must be paid for in full before they can be shipped to you. If you need to pay over time, this can be done using paypal. Unless other arrangements are made your piece will ship once you have paid for it. That is why I urge collectors to ask questions, and get as much information as they feel is needed, before making a purchase.  Please feel free to contact me - I welcome all questions - and will do my best to make you feel comfortable and confident of your decisions before you buy. 

 

Prints

Many of my pieces are available as prints on fabric. These pieces are printed by a company I love here in the USA, using digital print process with water based non-toxic soy inks and dyes and very little waste. They are high quality prints. They all have a white border where the fabric is loaded into the printer. I can quote you the price to hem them which starts at $40 and depends on the size. Prints are limited edition, signed and numbered with letters of authenticity. Each print comes with a description of the processes used to create the original. They are machine washable, permanent and colorfast. You may choose prints on cotton, chiffon, silky faille or poly crepe de chine. This is personal preference. You may look at samples of the various fabics to insure you are choosing the one perfect for your needs. Most prints generally do not look as vibrant on chiffon. (with the exception of The Essence of Space is Conductivity).  If you want the piece to be on silk, my advice is to purchase or commission an original.  Prints are special ordered for each customer,  choose wisely as they are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

 

Can I use the art I buy for the cover of my book, flyers or website?

Many people believe artwork they purchase can be used for commercial purposes by whomever owns the art (has possession of the physical property).  Regrettably, that is not the case.  Only the owner of the copyright (in most cases the artist) can grant the rights/give permission for commercial reproduction of the image. If you want to use art that way, please call or write me and I will advise re: licensing. This includes flyers, websites and any print media.

 

What is your returns policy?

If you are unhappy with your purchase of original art, for any reason, you have 5 business days post-delivery to make that decision and another 5 business days to get the artwork back to me.  If you wish to make a return you need to get in touch with me within that time period.  Payment will be refunded in full, less shipping costs, once the artwork is safely returned.  All artwork must be returned insured and tracked, packed in the original materials, at the buyer's expense,  

What are your payment options?

If you purchase an artwork online, through my store, you may pay via Paypal.  If you prefer to make payment using your credit card, or by bank check  or bank wire, I can also accept those methods: please contact me directly for instructions

 

Do you provide International delivery?

Yes, we are experienced in doing that.  There are some countries to which it is simply unwise to ship original artworks; if you are in doubt about your location, just contact me.    

 

What are your delivery options?

The most frequently used carriers for shipments in the United States shipping to locations domestically and to international locations are the U.S. Postal service and Federal Express. The most frequently used carriers for shipments originating in the UK are Parcel Force and Federal Express. I have not programmed shipping costs into the price of the work. You will receive an estimate before purchase based on the weight and value which will include tracking and insurance where possible.

 

How do I track my order?

  Once your artwork is shipped, you typically will receive a tracking number by email from me.  Please be aware that it usually takes 2-3  days to pack and ship original artwork once the order is placed. Prints take a month and usually do not require a signature. Please note that most shipments will require a signature for delivery.
